Autumn Has Arrived

Trimble Creek Lodge Fall Foliage

Autumn has definitely arrived at Trimble Creek Lodge. Leaves are falling and the colors are changing. It’s lusciously cool morning and evening – we need sweaters plus socks and the summer sandals are now stowed in the barn along with the ski boat. A few days ago the last of the hummingbirds stopped by our feeders on their way south. We spotted a bald eagle in the cove this afternoon and turkeys are showing up behind the lodge more frequently. Michael the Outside Guy says “It’s easier to stalk turkeys than the bald eagles!”
